Abstract: Free Maxwell theory in four dimensions serves as one of the simplest examples in which non-invertible symmetries appear in higher dimensions. In this talk, after reviewing this structure, we will find an infinity of new such symmetries and search for their analogs in N=4 Super-Yang-Mills theory. Surprisingly, we will find that such non-invertible symmetries emerge at the supergravity limit and implement an operation that was referred to in the past as the ”bonus symmetry”.
