The discovery of the first detection of collider neutrinos by the FASER Collaboration has been hailed as "The Dawn of Collider Neutrino Physics" in a new Viewpoint article in Physics Magazine. FASER is a particle physics experiment at the LHC at CERN, and the Collaboration members include UCI graduate students Savannah Shively and Eli Welch and professors Dave Casper and Jonathan Feng.
