Abstract: Quantum twisting microscope (QTM) is a new and powerful platform to study in-situ twistronics and momentum-resolved band structure imaging of 2D materials. Further combining it with light allows probing the optical and optoelectronic properties of two layers of 2D materials stacked on top of each other with a tunable twist angle. In this talk, I will present the development of an optical quantum twisting microscope which is equipped with both vis-NIR lasers and home built Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. Light induced tunneling photocurrent is collected to study the photo excitation process in different vertical tunnel junctions while tuning the twist angle continuously.
