Each year Physical Review Letters, the most prestigious journal in physics, publishes 2000-2500 Letters in 52 issues.  400 of those papers are highlighted as Editors' Suggestions, and at the end of the year, fewer than 60 papers are selected for the Physical Review Letters Collection, a concentrated distillation of some of the most important and interesting papers in physics and related areas. In 2024, First Measurement of νe and νμ Interaction Cross Sections at the LHC with FASER’s Emulsion Detector, was one of 6 particle physics papers selected.

The paper highlights the work of UCI Professors Dave Casper and Jonathan Feng, postdocs, and graduate students.
