Abstract: Science is wonderful and inspiring and impressive and all that. But it can also be FUNNY. Brian will blend science and stand-up comedy and discuss how we can use humor to communicate the joys of physics to a broad audience. And he'll make you laugh, or your money back.
Bio: Brian Malow has appeared at TEDx, Los Alamos National Lab, the Lindau Laureate Meetings, Science Friday, The Late Late Show. He has worked with NASA, NSF, AAAS, NIST and many other acronyms, as well as Lawrence Berkeley Lab, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. He’s been featured in the New York Times, SF Chronicle and Washington Post. The California Academy of Sciences named Brian one of their inaugural Osher Science Communication Fellows.
